Autumn Air Customers,

We are in a state of contestant change due to the COVID-19 outbreak. I wanted to reach out to our customers and assure them that we will continue to be here for them. We will offer all normal services including but not limited to electrical repair, installation, and maintenance as well as heating and air repair, installation, and maintenance. We are however going to be making several adjustments to the way we typically conduct business in an effort to better protect you and our valued team members that make up the Autumn Air family. As one of our core values states “we treat our customers, fellow employees, and other industry professionals with the utmost respect.” We will do our jobs with this value in mind.

You can continue to call into the office at (205) 800-3400 and schedule appointments as normal. You can also reach out to our Facebook business page and our website at www.autumnairbirmingham.com to schedule appointments. We ask that you communicate to us if anyone in the home is showing any signs of sickness so that we can take the necessary steps to ensure safety. We will be following all recommendations made by the CDC, local, and national officials on how to use adequate precautions. Again, our goal is to serve and protect you as well as keeping our team members safe.

During our in-home visits, we are telling our team members to use pre-cautions. Some of these precautions will be only acceptable forms of payments that do not require a “hand-off.” You can pay electronically through our emailed invoices or over the phone to our office. We are suspending our signature requirement on any work to be performed and instead of asking for an electronic signature via our electronic invoice which will be emailed. Our team members will also be limiting their amount of time inside the home when possible. We will ask for help turning thermostats and/or power on/off by you, our customer, instead of our team members going inside. Our team members have been encouraged to wear gloves, masks, and utilize disinfecting sprays when necessary. We have canceled all group meetings, training, and staff events to help prevent any more potential exposure as well.
